I too was there in the mid 60's. I remember Mr Kelly, Fitzpatrick, Mr Warren, Harrison etc

I left in 1970, fitzpatrick was the head with his missus as science teacher, kelly was deputy head, harrison was maths, finnegan music, warren pe, hawksworth metalwork, staniforth was woodwork, salt was td,

Ha ha! Mr Staniforth is related to me. He's now retired and lives in Harrogate

Think he was only about 29 ish when I was there in 1968.

.i went to st pauls 1963 -1964 for about 6 months.Came over from Belfast with mother and father now deceased and my little sister maria my christian name is robert but i Was called irish .The first lesson off my first day at school was in the biolgy class.My family lived i think in saul st. now demolished a motorway now goes over it

By chance I came across a tread on St Pauls expats, it was great to read some of the entires from those that attended in the late sixties and bringing back memories of those reachers and attendees... i hope other contribute, it would be great!

Hi good to know you attended St Pauls, I was there on first day but only for a short time, maybe only one year, as I was probably about 14 at the time.

He went to City Tech in second year.

There have been a number of reunions over the years.

What year was that ? I was there from 1961-68.

The year would have been 1967 (around the start of the new term I think).

I had the chance to go to City Tech but did,nt.

Sorry Sharkey was there 62-68, so in 66 would have been 15, would not have known you if you started in the 1st year. Unless you had any older brothers or sisters?
