Glad I've seen this thread as need a roofer here too, just to gobbo and replace a few ridge tiles that fell off in the high winds. Did see a roofer in his van but when approached re this question he promptly stated he only did flat roofs.

A roof is a roof is'nt it, confused me totally.

my partner is a roofer and he only does flat roofing. Flat roofing is totally different to the pitched roofs with slates. he is very good by the way , 30 years experience so if any one needs a flat roof repairing or renewing he is an excellent choice.

very different , you wont find many roofers doing flat roofs , they seem to think it's below them .
