Need a job and a new life, help

Thought I'd throw this one at you and see what you come up with. I'm currently unemployed and have been for a while due to ill health(constant nausea).

I'm not much better but feel that if I stay at home much longer i'm going to get severly depressed. I have a few interests, but little or no experience.I enjoy driving mainly,(anything motoring related) and enjoy dealing with the public. The problem is thenausea is so severe that at times it is difficult to even get out so the job needs to be as unstressful as can be.

I have a potential capital of about £20k too which was left to me. I had thought about franchises too. I'll be 25 in June.

The things is, I'm getting exasperated with my life. .

I'm very much feeling that I need a change but I'm stumped as to what to do next. I've done 5 years of trying to get better but I feel by staying at home it only makes my situation worse. Any thoughts folks? Thanks in advance...

Cheers

Move south.

To Leicestershire to be more precise.

Im in a little semi rural area and the atmosphere is calm and healthy and peaceful, jobs are ten a penny, theyre BEGGING for people here so you can pretty well call the shots.

Crime is so low that its practically unheared of, the area is beautiful and the people are extremely friendly.

Unless you have a good business background, don't get a franchise. They are very, very risky.

 LOL!!! No don't! The air's unclean here (we're in an artesian basin) and we have some of the highest asthma and hayfever staticstics in the country. The countryside is flat and boring compared to that around Sheffield. Anyone who comes into Leicestershire from elsewhere comments about how "cold and unfriendly" the Leicestershire people are.............I could go on, but I'd say, no, don't come here!

Sounds like youre in the wrong bit of Leicestershire :D

No wait!

Yeah... to stop an influx of people... yes, yes youre right, we`re all monsters here...

Grrrrr..... that was my vicious growl, sort of... thing.

Well, I'm from Rutland, and WE'RE definitely cold and unfriendly. Plus there's no point moving to Rutland unless you're very old or stupid or willing to commute a long way. Everyone else leaves.

Well, as we've said before on a different thread, Bradgate Park and the surrounding area is a beautiful spot, but that's about the long and short of it, really. The only thing we possibly have over Yorks. is hedges - they're great aren't they?! - but I do like the dry stone walls too. I suppose every area has its own attractions and really, we have to make the most of what we've got, wherever that is. :)
