Screwfix & Screwfix Direct are both part of ScrewFix which is part of the Kingfisher Group that owns B&Q, but does not own Wickes.

We use Screwfix, always found them really good, and prices are usually pretty competitive, we have been doing our house up so needed quite a lot. They usually deliver the next day too which always surprises me!!! I think its Screwfix Direct that we use though - we have the booklet and order online and they have a depot in Rotherham.

ok then, my mistake -- was just going on what I had been told and heared from various sources, maybe they were seperate at one point but merged or one bought the other or something.

Two companies are register at Companies House. Both are registered to the ScrewFix office.

Interestingly enough, 'ScrewFix Ltd' is listed as "Dormant" while 'ScrewFix Direct Ltd' is listed as carrying on the trade.
