Eve Online is miles better anyway. WoW is for people who live in basements and are social retards.

Yeah, 'cos people who play EVE only play it in a pub with all their mates when having a few drinks :)

What a daft statement - all people who play any MMO are social retards :) Otherwise they would be out with real people rather than playing with virtual buddies online.

The link for the 10-day trial can be found over at http://www.wow-europe.com/en/index.xml (it will involve downloading a huge set of files to install - unless someone lends you a copy of the game)

Another option for an online game - if hubby is a fan of Lord Of The Rings he may appreciate Lord Of The Rings Online which is a similar game to Warcraft, but not as obsessed with raids, and not filled with as many muppets as WoW - plus the game feels more social and relaxed (you can even buy a house in the game and decorate it). Again a free trial can be found at http://www.lotro-europe.com/ to test out. It also offers a lifetime subscription instead of recurring payments for those who know they will still play it in the coming years.

Eve Onlline free trial can be found in a link over at http://www.eve-online.com/

Always worth trying free trials out first for any MMO as they all have different styles and feels to them, so what one person enjoys another may despise. Me, i play any that I find.

Actually Eve does seem to have a culture based on alcohol abuse. More so than WoW which is more self abuse based.

I havent played any MMORPG for years to be fair, I find women much more fun if a touch more hard work.
