abbie Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I Am Going Away In Two Weeks To Benidorm All Inclusive At Magic Rock Gardens Through First Choice Anyone Any Things To Be Ware Of Or Look Forward To , It's Fist Time Flying From Manchester
pinklady Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 my advice, .... dont stay in you 'all inclusive' ....... have a few nights out. .... if youve got children with you, stay away from the strip after 8pm, its all adult comedians/strippers/acts etc. dont eat at josephens and johns .... sticky vickey sells them a 2 mile link of sausgaes and a dozen eggs after her shows
handypandy Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Lock your valuables, passport, money, somewhere safe (if its an hotel, you can hire one). Don't buy from street traders. Have a ball:banana::banana:
youwhatref Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 dont eat at josephens and johns .... sticky vickey sells them a 2 mile link of sausgaes and a dozen eggs after her shows same as if you do watch, dont catch anything that gets spat your way Enjoy your first trip away, i've been once to Benidorm but it was too much like a city for me. You'll enjoy the all inclusive but do try to get out occasionally as there's plenty to choose from in Benidorm. For reviews of what to expect visit tripadvisor.co.uk although dont everything for gospel as we all have different reputations.
Bruno Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Also beware changing money, only use official banks, otherwise you WILL be ripped off from the other exchange shops
pinklady Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 yes, theres a good exchange inside the market called sheilas and one on the outside of the markets next to the tobbaconist ....... stick to those two only. Im not a huge lover of benidorm (although i do enjoy the odd night on the strip) ... but the surrounding places (al faz, al bair etc) are beautiful and much more ... er .... cleaner? ... filled with nice quiet bars and good resturants.
Nigel Womersle Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I'be been to Benidorm five times. If you can get to the Benidorm Palace, do try and go. They have the old groups on like The Drifters and The Four Tops. Perhaps not of your era, but I will guarantee you will have the night of your life. When The Drifters sing 'Saturday Night at The Movies', everyone gets to their feet and dances. The Old Town has some quiet bars at night. If you have children, avoid anywhere where Sticky Vicky and Sexy Barabara are on the bill. They may not be there now though. There is a good open air market twice each week. The beaches are very clean. I always avoid drinking the tap water, and do not have ice in my drink. Buy bottled water.

Jason84 Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 It's alright, Benidorm isn't foreign. Just think of it as a warmer skeggy.
