Air Cadets across the UK take part in fun and challenging activities like :

Flying, gliding, parachuting, climbing, shooting, expeditions, adventure training, Duke of Edinburgh... the list goes on.

860 (Mosborough) Sqn ATC are activley recruiting boys and girls from the age of 13+ to join the Squadron to be a part an exciting nationwide organisation. Membership costs are kept to a minimum and all the activiteis such as flying and shooting are paid for by the RAF. Other activities are subsidised by the RAF so there is no huge expense to you, or your parents!

How would learning to fly solo before you can drive sound?

Cadets can learn to fly in modern RAF training aircraft - the Grob Tutor and also learn to glide in the Corps gliders.

Cadets have the chance to represent their Wing (County), Region (North of England) and eventually the Corps (England) in many sports such as Rugby, Football, Hockey and Swimming.

Cadets have the opportunity to visit RAF Stations and visit the various sections on the station and also get the chance to fly in the RAF's aircraft when on that station.

Other activities include Fieldcraft, Adventure Training, D of E and many more. Youn can also work towards nationally recognised BTEC's in Avation Studies.

If this sounds like something that would interest you, or someone that you know contact Flight Lieutenant Bisby on the below contact details or PM Me (Square-Basher).

We parade on Tuesday and Thursday nights between 18:45hrs and 21:00hrs at Sqn HQ on Mosdale Avenue, S20 5DU.
