mholey Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 What is the best way to clean my laptop screen? I don't have any screenwipes, and wondered if there is anything lying round the house which would do a decent job?
rsyebor Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 i just use a yellow duster and finely misted water, say from the spray of a steam iron
Dave650 Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 I use foam cleaner and one of those yellow cloths for polishing (all though it'd be better with a lint free one) then again I'm a professional dork... I'd do as ryebor says.
Dave650 Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Can it? I know it does at first until you put some elbow grease in. It's just hat I've always used...
rsyebor Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 i was taught not to use it. and to be very warey of what you put on tft monitors
Dave650 Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 i was taught not to use it. and to be very warey of what you put on tft monitors yes it does make sense- I'll bare that in mind
rsyebor Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 yes it does make sense- I'll bare that in mind then again, the company(ies) that makes foam cleaner also tend to make tft screen wipes. maybe they just say that so you buy 2 products...
pcdoctor Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 What is the best way to clean my laptop screen? I don't have any screenwipes, and wondered if there is anything lying round the house which would do a decent job? just keep screwdrivers well away from it
rsyebor Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 just keep screwdrivers well away form it i think that goes for cleaning almost anything
