minibobkin Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 hi im getting married next year and im trying to get to my ideal weight for theni was really craving for baked items and ive found some lovely recipies i have lots of time to bake and ive made buns, cakes, egg custards and biscuits over the last couple of weeks for me,my partner and my kids plus other family members and friends who come round for a coffee these are all low fat items following the ww points plan i have the following sponge buns at 1.5 choc buns at 2 the buns above can be made as cakes instead cookies at 1 egg custard with no crust i will also be making some ginger biscuits and some easter biscuits all low fat.these all taste great. i know a lot of people dont get chance to bake due to work commitments and i was wondering if i could be any help to anyone. i would be willing to make the items up fresh on request and sell as low as i can.i thought i could also take some along to the next car boot i do and see if i can get any interest there.does anyone know of any other ways i could offer this service or even if you think its a good idea.i would also have samples for try before you buy.also what you think would be fair prices would be great.any advice will be very much appreciated.thankyou:)
teddie Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 I don't think you can sell home baked food at car boots, due to Health and safety rules! (you might have put poisin in etc) yes I know it is daft, but don't want you to go to a lot of trouble and have to dump it or eat it yourselves! nice idea though
minibobkin Posted March 13, 2008 Author Posted March 13, 2008 thanks for that i have seen loads of home baked goods at car boots (like diabetic foods)so i didnt think that would be a problem but thankyou for pointing that out.id just like to a way to help out other people in the same position as me and baking is also something that keeps me busy and on my feet which is good for my weight loss thankyou for your comment its much appreciated
