Rendering Question

Have had my back door bricked up (no comments please) and the outside of the house is rendered with what looks like a cement based render onto a woven matting.

I need to try blend where the door was into it.

Was thinking of render with artex on the top.

Can you use artex out side? or does anyone have any suggestions.

you coulduse a product called Hi Build, can get this at any trade paint stores.

not sure what u mean but the only thing i can think of with u mentioning artex is tyrolean which needs to be sprayed onto a flat render

If its on a woven matting then it sounds like its polymer render. Its a modern type of render which is very sticky but flexible. Getting a colour match may be difficult without knowing the manufacturer, but not impossible.
