jake Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 A lot of threads on here (normally of the "send 'em back/string 'em up" variety) seem to take exception to "do-gooders". The opposite of do-gooders would seem to be "Ne'erdowells" - so lets all see what everyone thinks - who's best/worst... 1. Do-gooders 2. Ne'erdowells Answers on a postcard...
JFKvsNixon Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Only one way to decide this - FIGHT! http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=Do-gooders&word2=Ne%27erdowells
Squiggs Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 as bad as each other Quite. What about the "doasyouwouldbedoneby's"?
pinklady Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 In my experience Do-gooders are usually Ne'erdowells
jake Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 What exactly is a Ne'erdowell ? As the name suggests - it's someone who never does well/good things.
pattricia Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 As the name suggests - it's someone who never does well/good things. Oh , yes I see Jake. Had to be opposite to Dogooder.
JohnM Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Interesting to see that the people of sheffield prefer people who do bad stuff to those who do good stuff...
