bladesman123 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 What is the best way to get rid of a hangover? what do you do if you have one?
wiz* Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Milk Thistle, take it morning, afternoon and evening before you go out, then when you get in and again in the morning. It's fantastic, really works.
Jessica23 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Lounge around feeling sorry for myself, smoking too much and drinking coffee. All of which I know full well hinder rather than help, physiologically. Sometimes try and force down some grease and drink a pint or two of water also, but that can lead to nausea...
haddockman Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 A proper greasy fried breakfast and a vast amount of full fat milk!!

blimi Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 When you wake up in the middle of the night to use the loo, then drink a full glass of water. Keeping yourself hydrated will reduce your morning hangover a lot.
wiz* Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 what is milk thistle? where do you get it from? Holland and Barrett, it's a herbal remedy which works by increasing your liver function. So basically it helps you to get rid of the alcohol more quickly and efficiently, reducing the side effects of alcohol. It's on special offer at the moment, about £4 for a massive tub that should last you a good few months of boozing!! Try it, loads of my colleagues swear by it, me too.
Heyesey Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 "I'm going to bash myself in the chest with a baseball bat later. What's the best remedy for broken ribs?" Are we really supposed to take threads like this seriously?
