coachmans OH here :hihi: (tatty61) ......been to vets today and been told kisha is having a phantom pregnancy :( shes swelled up underneath and on her back end ) I thought she was coming into season again but no :(:(

 

shes lively one minute then all sad and fed up the next :( hormones eh dont you just love em and shes got a sticky eye shes got eye cream to clear that up OH says if he hasn`t got enough hormonal women to cope with :rolleyes: hes feeling outnumbered :hihi::hihi:

Take away her toys, make sure she gets plenty of exercise and is not allowed too much time to mope and 'nest' - Ailsa has these and we try not to indulge her. She gets really out of sorts if we do. Ideally, if the phantoms are geting stronger and stronger with every season, it's a good idea to consider getting your dog spayed, but I havent with Ailsa because generally she's OK. A bit of a dramaqueen anyway and mahgically forgets all about her condition if we show her the lead and say 'walkies'.

yeh vet said dont make too much of it just treat her as normal its hard though when you get the sad face and with the sticky eye lol her eye looks a lot better this morning and shes good letting us put the eye cream in :) i cant stand anyone messing with mine :gag: thanks anyway:D

Know what you mean- there's nothing worse than having to look at and listen to a whining dobermutt feeling sorry for herself and carrying her stuffed orange kitten about looking confused...
