Spring 2008 Knitty is up

And can be found here. I am loving the foot on these - dont like the leg though:( Jaden is really lovely and is now on my to do list. Having trouble looking at some of the others so I shall look again later.

 

Also the new Magknits was up a couple of weeks ago (forgot to post about that)- didnt like anything on that:(

I liked the cabling on the foot of that sock too but I'd rather have the pretty cable on the leg and the plainer one in my shoe.

 

The flax article was interesting, it looks to be more work producing flax than growing wool. I am now resisting the urge to save my allotment nettles, dew ret them and spin them.

 

Edited to add - I liked the water bottle carrier from Magknits, it would be a useful thing to have come the summer.

Only had a really quick look - but there's one or two things I liked the look of. But, however much I like it I think I'd struggle to knit something called Nob Hill

Yeah I think that leg would make your calf look much larger than it is, not a good thing when i've already got elephant legs! lol

 

Going to have to have a good look through, i've got 500g Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk in DK and in Aran and I don't know what to make.
