Jay69 Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Has anybody got this deal if so whats the laptop like and whats it like connection wise and any problems with the service . I ask why because i'm thinking of going for it but not sure ?
SimpyTimpy Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Is this the deal with PC World, where if you sign up for an 18 month (might be 24 month) contract with 3 Broadband on the Go, then you get £350 off any laptop. They say it's free because they sell a couple of laptops for under £350.
seanpint Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 the signal is quite good. i use a 3 wireless modem and also use my phone as a modem. never had a signal drop either soi would recomend it not a clue about the pc world deal mind. not looked into that
andco Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 All I've had with 3 is problems - they are the most incompetent, inefficient, ineffective bunch of morons who always understand what you're saying but never do anything about anything. I'd be verry very wary of anything they're offering.
Jay69 Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 Not seen the pc world 1 its the 1 with the carphone warehouse
rsyebor Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Not seen the pc world 1 its the 1 with the carphone warehouse thats the AOL home broadband offer
rsyebor Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 ive just had a look on PC worlds website and the offer isnt that great. the tarrif you get, 3GB/month data download for 35 quid is infact available dirct from 3 for £15/month which over 18 months makes a saving of £360 by going through 3
wwp8 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 the one at pcworld is 18 mth contract, UPTO £350 discount on selected laptops. £35 per month includes 200 free txt there is also a vodafone one. £39.95 per mth, 24 month contract, and i think its upto 7.2mbs. and 6gb fair usage its really suitable for people whos not got the money in front to buy a laptop, and haven't got or intend to use broadband on the move.
