tompass07 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Do you know the special cameras that are before traffic lights. i went through an amber light the other day and am worried i may get a ticket and points. as any body else had this experience. the camera looks like a speed camera but is grey and a different shape. Thanks.
tompass07 Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 my back tyres may have gone through on red because it was on amber for a long time. and it was one of them special cameras
Ousetunes Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Agreed, you're unlikely to be filmed going through an amber. I'd forget about it if I were you.
Ousetunes Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Ah, now you mention it was one of the special cameras, that changes it. You will be arrested - five police cars, two vans and the dogs and horses - between 5pm tonight and 3 in the morning, sent to the Tower of London and on Friday charged at the High Court. You'll be fined a million pounds, flogged, have your car crushed and be sentenced to a thousand hours hard labour. Then you'll be deported to somewhere. Probably. (If you plead guilty, they may just force you to watch daytime TV. Aaaaaggghhhh!!!!)
Darbees Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Speed and traffic light cameras have to be painted yellow. It's in these extemely boring guidelines , if you can be bothered reading them.

Ravenger Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Red light cameras don't have to be painted yellow, and are normally a neutral grey colour. There's one on the approach to the Brook Hill roundabout.

Unregistered Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 my back tyres may have gone through on red You will be fined and receive some penalty points. Amber means stop. Good drivers think ahead - if you see a green for a while it will probably turn amber. . . .
