Traffic light Cameras

Do you know the special cameras that are before traffic lights. i went through an amber light the other day and am worried i may get a ticket and points. as any body else had this experience. the camera looks like a speed camera but is grey and a different shape.

my back tyres may have gone through on red because it was on amber for a long time. and it was one of them special cameras

Speed and traffic light cameras have to be painted yellow. It's in these extemely boring guidelines , if you can be bothered reading them.

Red light cameras don't have to be painted yellow, and are normally a neutral grey colour. There's one on the approach to the Brook Hill roundabout.

Amber means stop.

 

Good drivers think ahead - if you see a green for a while it will probably turn amber.
