Quagmire Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 had the same problem on my C2 - fuse had blown. If the nozzles get frozen or blocked the little pump blows the fuse.
ducatiboy Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 seeing as the front and rear arent working. It could be as simple as the main tube/hose coming off. It hasnt been particularly cold of late so wouldnt imagine its frozen. Even though they arent spraying is the volume of fluid getting less? if not this could show a problem with the pump unit for example no power being delivered to it from the battery,so check that when you hit the button it operates. if it doesnt it could be a blown fuse. try this and let us know
Quagmire Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 yer the wipers still worked. Like ducati said if you can't hear the pump its probably the fuse or the pump unit could be broken.
Old_Bloke Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 What's wrong with my Citroen C3? It's French. Nuff said. *runs for cover*
Old_Bloke Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Don't worry about it not working properly today - it's probably just in some sort of gallic mood. It'll be fine again tomorrow
medusa Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 On the fuse box on most cars there is a breakdown of which fuse covers which gadget in the map of which fuse is where. For instance, I know now that if my central locking is playing up of its own accord then my interior lighting will work, but if my interior light is also not working then that means that the fuse has blown. Could be a handy diagnostic for you.
