kckc Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 For all those of you out there frustrated with Microsoft Word! I was so overjoyed at learning that there was a shortcut to change lowercase letters to uppercase, that I felt overwhelmed at this late/early hour to share this user-friendly guide with you. http://www.internet4classrooms.com/msword_keyboard_ibm.htm I'm sure you'll know a lot of these, but the Shift-F3 did it for me. If only I'd know that weeks ago
ASPGuru Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Personally I prefer to use the Caps Lock button. Why use two keys when one will do
Joey Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Personally I prefer to use the Caps Lock button. Why use two keys when one will do When you've already typed a full line and look up to see that its all in caps, changing it in one go without retyping is a god-send!! I presume that's what this does? Whenever I am on a new pc at work the first thing I do is add the shortcut button to the bar at the top of my Word screen for doing exactly this!

It does indeed, Shift+F3 changes lower or upper case, but only if there is no punctuation at the end of what you have selected otherwise I think you may need to press Shift+F3 three times.
