do none of these pubs in question have security, i supply security to blu stoops and green dragon and very rarely have problems if any.... but i dont know the area as i'm based in town center and dont go up there that much...

not sure if the two were connected . The fight in the Bridge happened over a comment made at the pool table by a lad that was out on his 21st and one of two brothers hit him with a bottle and off it went .

Scott mate , the security in the Stoops is a joke , sorry but I've seen a couple of fights break out in there over Christmas and the "security" just stood there and looked scared to get involved.

Totally agree. Heard The Greyhound is closing too & i have a sneaky feeling mark will be talking about the Bridge. Always seems to be a bad atmosphere in the air at weekends. Shame about BarOne tho, had some great nights in there & the dog for that matter.

Problem with the bridge is it is run by a young lad about 21 , now I give him credit because he does try and run it as best he can , but there are people who go in there that just have no respect for him what so ever , and the Greyhound is to a thai restaurant

I thought that was the other pub Gary has what has been made into a thai restaurant?

Also as for security in BarOne well whenever i have been in they seem more interested in talking to the ladies that go there then anything else. Greyhound did have some but they got rid & the bridge is only good for its dukebox.

What was a good night out is sadly no longer it seems.

Gary doesn't have any , they are owned by Enterprise Inns , you are thinking of The Garden which is now an Indian Buffet , The Greyhound which he ruined is to be a Thai restaurant . To say he made some suicidal business decisions is an understatment
