That would be a terrible idea, what if they had gutted someone like a fish. Two wrongs don't make a right in this case. A relative of a victim might think that they could kill a murderer in the way they killed the victim but acting on it would cause major psychological damage. And if there is a 3rd party 'executioner' who would like to kill a murderer in the way 'they killed their victims' then he/she really needs putting away and some serious help.

Following on from several threads on here in relation to capital punishment what method of execution would you say was the best if it ever returned?

 

Your list contains an obvious omission. Namely: Having to endure posts like this until death!

I'd have thought a gun shot to the brain stem would be pretty quick, if not a bit messy. I don't support the death penalty, but if we had to have it it should be humane, or you're no better than they are, getting satisfaction out of other people's pain.
