Laptop hard drive question

im after upgrade for my lappy .2.5 harddrive

what hard drive do i require sata or ide???

How old is the laptop?

look at your current hard drive, take it out..

its a packard bell f7305 laptop about 3years old now,just want to upgrade harddrive.

It will be IDE if it's that old

PATA IDE that is, rather than SATA which is still IDE.
