cressida Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Would you change anything in your life or are you happy with the way it is, is there anything you would or shold have changed previously, do you like change - or do you find it unsettling?
jfish1936 Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 After 70+ years, on the whole, NO! Yet maybe: if I'd eaten less and exercised more........ if I'd nagged my sister into giving up smoking...... if I'd learnt to play the piano.......
Innocence Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 i should change the way i perceive certain situations.
Rich Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 If I could change anything, it would definitely be the fact that I'm disabled. Then I wouldn't have had to go to a "special" School, and I'd be able to get a job! And no, I am not using the disability as an excuse to not work, if I could get anything other than a voluntary job, I would.
steadiman Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Should have, could have, but I did what I did and so I live wth today....my god this cabernet sauvignon is good
cressida Posted March 7, 2008 Author Posted March 7, 2008 I would have liked to play the piano, and mastered ice skating or even roller skating - it was a case of not getting enough practise with the latter two

Rich I sincerely hope your luck changes and you get the job you deserve, you are bright enough
Swan_Vesta Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 The obvious; I'd not smoke, drink or eat the near continual smorgasboard of crap which I seem to shovel down my gaping trap. I'd be a better son and brother. I'd not hate as readily as I do, I'd have patience, I'd show compassion, I'd not be so sharp of tongue and I'd be a nicer guy. You know the guy who you discuss with a third party and describe "A really nice guy, never has a bad word to say about anyone"? That's who I like to be ...... As it is I have to stay being an absolute arsehole
