Guest   #7249 Posted March 3, 2013 Ashes- 7/10  Ray Winstone in good form playing someone with a history which slowly gets untangled- the character has developed amnesia which is how the film plays out.
 Share this content via...
top4718 Â Â 838 #7250 Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) Monty Python And The Holy Grail - 8/10 - Not watched this for years, the Python team throw everything (and the kitchen sink) into a spoof middle ages comedy, laugh out loud with many quotable lines. Brilliant. Edited March 3, 2013 by top4718
 Share this content via...
Manlinose   10 #7251 Posted March 4, 2013 safe haven - not too bad, but most of the good bits are in the trailer and the "twist" at the end felt tagged on just for the sake of it - 7/10 (got an extra point because julianne hough is rather pretty and i am shallow)
 Share this content via...

Frohike   10 #7255 Posted March 6, 2013 Talladega Nights - 2/10  Very disappointed with this film, poor story, poor jokes. Thought Will Ferrel would have had the same standard he set in Anchorman! I would certainly not recommend it.
 Share this content via...
bassy   10 #7256 Posted March 6, 2013 recently watched paranormal activity 4, i love a supernatural horror, disappointed though, watch for an hour and half for maybe 4 or 5 mins of 'activity' and not very scary, so only rate it maybe 4 or 5 out of ten 10 out of 10 to my partner though as i laid on the landing upstairs when we went to bed and grabbed him through the banisters.......he screams like an 8 year old girl ! top4718 Â Â 838 #7258 Posted March 6, 2013 The Grey - 6.5/10 - Liam Neeson survives a plane crash in Alaska and has to battle the elements and some unrealistic wolves. Seen worse. Â ---------- Post added 07-03-2013 at 22:43 ---------- Â The Navigators - 7.5/10 - One of Ken Loach's lesser known films about a group of South Yorkshire railway workers facing the changes brought about by privatisation, typical earthy Loach film with some Sheffield locations and many local footy team plugs. walkertelecoms   16 #7260 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) The Jacket (2005) with Adrien Brody, Keira Knightley, Daniel Craig, Steven Mackintosh, Kris Kristofferson et-al.  Loved this film, the alternate universe/life scenario. A great watch with other people and a bottle or two of wine.  8.5/10  TRAILER:  ---------- Post added 09-03-2013 at 15:22 ----------  The Troll Hunter  A great Scandinavian film. Not sure whether it's the Norwegian sub-titles that kept me riveted of the unique uk-Hollywood way it was played and filmed.  At the end of the final credits, there is a notice in English, claiming that "No trolls were harmed during the making of this movie". Epic  9/10  TRAILER: Edited March 9, 2013 by walkertelecoms
 Share this content via...
