Rate the last film you saw

I'm a blokey bloke. I don't watch romantic films but i have just been and read a few reviews on this one and am now tempted to give it a go. I'll see if i get the time for it later.

To be honest, I put it on cos I fancied watching a chick flick, but that's not what I got! Give it a go, you won't regret it.

Napoleon Dynamite... Again... 10/10. One of the best made films I've ever seen.

True Grit (remake) - 9.5/10

True Grit (original) - 8.5/10

That's right, one of the rare occasions where remake>original.

Not seen the remake so I can't comment on that, but I've never seen a film where the remake is better than the original (subjective)

I had to have a think before I came up with some and they all seem to be remakes of old or foreign films; here are some remakes I prefere to the originals:

The Fly.

The Thing.

The Adventures Of Baron Munchousen.

The Pink Panther.

ps, I was only kidding about the last one.

Don't forget..

Scarface

Cape Fear

Ocean's 11

Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Heat

All, in my opinion, better than the original (even when the original is a good film too, such as Cape Fear, or LA Takedown/Heat)

I watched Confessions of a Shopaholic on Sky the other day, 8/10 but only cos I'm in love with Isla Fisher  I've fancied her since she was in Home and Away years ago.
