luck Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 try taylor and crookes bathroom solutions call simon on 07779630423. thank you, but before I call them, could you tell me if you have seen their work and do they charge according to the work they do, or they price you as they go along depending on the area and other factors? thank you again.
little_m Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 You could try calling the firm that built the new Wembley as your project will be finished in the same sort of time.
eeejay174 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Don _ at no point did i categorically say that i obtained my qualifications on site - i obtained those through college - the assessor comes to the place where you are currently working and sees examples of your work and watches your work take place and then you are given a certificate at the end when you have acheived an acceptable standard!! I stated i qualified as a bricklayer and then i worked on site, i went on to also qualify as a plasterer and then worked on site, perhaps you need to adjust your glasses!! I cannot believe that I am being condemned for being a motivated individual who doesnt believe in 'putting all their professional eggs in one basket' and prefers to have a number of trades under their belt to ensure a comfortable and consistent stream of work!! philen - I have pm'd you regards

eeejay174 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 heartily accepted, i do appreciate how important it is to be careful - too many times I have had to go in and correct the work of cowboy builders, the things i find never cease to amaze!!! Only recently i was asked to help with a job - the walls were so badly plastered they rippled, the back of the house (this was an extension onto the side of a house) was wider then the front which no-one noticed until the roofer tried to fix on the tiles!!! there was no where for the client to put up a curtain rail as the top of the window was only 3"s away from the ceiling!! and that is to name but a few errors!! Gobsmacked!!
