'Laws hoping to turn corner'

From the Owls official site:

Brian Laws says the hard-fought draw stored at Barnsley on Saturday could prove a turning point for the Owls as the business end of the season approaches.

Wednesday enjoyed the lion's share of possession on a blustery afternoon at Oakwell and Laws was pleased with the application of his players.

He said: "We might look back on this game as a turning point towards the end of the season."

- Brian, how many times have we heard that this season?

We might be looking back on this result as one that we could (and should) have won. By all acounts the dingles were there for the taking and we just couldn't do it.

Clean sheets are all very well at this point, but it means nothing if we can't score at the other end.

Sort it out Brian, I still have faith in you but League One is calling us..... :(

Time of Possession Barnsley 48% - owls 52%

The last turning point was after you beat us :gag:

We are both in trouble but I think we can both just escape the drop.

Unbelievable how bad Sheffield football has gotten but, then again win some of those matches we drew and we would be in a play-off spot.

This Division as I have said all along is the hardest division to get out of anywhere in football :o
