metaphoria Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Due to a succession of unfortunate events, I've just had to endure Saturday night television...gameshows etc-you know the ones. However, something on a well known family show caught my eye... ...bobsledding. Now that does look like fun. I'd love to have a go. What's the most exciting sport/activity you've ever done? Or what situations have made your heart race? Or what would you love to experience? Bungee? Skydive? Absail? Clean please.
GSK Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Skydive, defo, well, solo static line jump. I have slight fear of heights too, so the climb up to altitude was terrifying. Looking out of the 'door' all the way up, buildings on the ground getting smaller and smaller. The anticipation was killing me, like ice running through my viens, primal fear. Then "Number 1, in the door". I was 'Number 1'. Gulp! Was amazing coming down though, like being sat in a big swing 4,000 foot up in the sky. Alton towers can be good too ... my little legs have a mind of their own.

Does that mean you weren't attached to an experienced skydiver? I'd love to do that too...is it expensive/difficult to organise?

Mentalmomma Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 That split second when they show you the child you've been carrying inside you has to be this biggest rush ever for me!
