spooferman
for me using public transport isn't an option. Bus and tram fare are very expensive, un comfortable horrid smells. not very reliable And it doesn't pick me up from home or drop me outside work,
CathS
I prefer them to be cooler rather than overly warm but can't say i've noticed and i was on one this morning.
foxydebs
I dont find them cold, I find them warm especially in rush hour, but then again walking up and down them will keep me warm.

I agree with you. When the trams are packed, I find them too warm. I much prefer a bit of fresh air, it reduces any offensive odours too!
HotPhil
There's two things to look at as you board - which seats the heaters are under and whether the window in the set of seats in front is open or not (it's the seats behind the open window that get the draught). Personally, I prefer to be too cold than too hot, but I don't like being in the draught, so my preferred seats are not the ones with heaters underneath (or opposite those seats) and I shut the window if I want to (even if someone else has just opened it). Easy really.

Bus and tram fare are very expensive, un comfortable horrid smells. not very reliable And it doesn't pick me up from home or drop me outside work, actually - it does for me, i live next to a tram stop and work in the city centre near the cathedral tram stop, much cheaper than the car and it means i can have a few bevvies on a saturday night and not worry about driving. getting back on the thread, i think the trams are always too warm - throw open the windows and let some fresh air in!!!!!! HotPhil
Or maybe take a layer off? So you don't then make the person behind the window you've opened freeze...

slimsid2000
Generally they are not, but the problem is caused by the staff opening windows on cold days. If they did noit do this the trams would not be cold. The real problem for cold public transport is First buses which are often cold as they do not have any form of heating (except for the driver's cab).
