Sheffield City Council are doing a public consultation on open and green spaces in the city.

As it is a public consultation, and I hadn't seen it until today (and the deadline is looming) I thought this would be a good place to post it..I KNOW many of you have opinions on your local open spaces and green spaces.

Now's your chance to express your satisfaction/dissatisfaction with Sheffield open spaces (though a little warning - it isn't the best questionnaire I've ever filled out by a long shot)

PS apparently you can also win £50 of M&S vouchers

You should also be able to pick the forms up from council offices and parks. I got mine at the Centre In The Park, Norfolk Hertage Park.

I've just filled it in and just hope that any conclusions are publicised before the coucil start spending what is a limited budget on things that haven't been asked for and ignoring the things that stop people enjoying their green spaces.

Tell them to stop trying to sell of public parkland

I'd say tell them yourself, but there's no place to write your suggestions and opinions...it's all tick boxes.

Otherwise yes, I probably would have said something.

You're very much preaching to the converted, but I couldn't agree more, it is good advice.
