If it improves the school's results then I say go for it. The school is near the bottom of the league table nationally, so anything which will inject some life into it and help improve resources and results can only be good.

Its been proven That academys dont work tho ive read in the paper!!

Can you provide a link to this proof? I'm wondering if different newspapers will report different viewpoints on whether they work or not.

 

When you say they don't work, does that mean that exam results don't improve?

my child goes to parkwood ....when i first heard it may become a academy i thought yey y not ..but ive listened to the arguements against an its made me think ...edutrust an something about a school in bradford ...apparently school backed out last min not sure y but ive heard they wasnt happy with edutrust...
