Why do some people think they can park where they like?

If it was a Smart car, you could perhaps have picked it up and moved it :hihi:

:

We drove to a launching ramp near a bridge; I confess, in a big diesel forby, towing 2.5 tons of 24 ft trailer-sailer.

The turning circle at the ramp was marked "No Parking", but occupied by a Volvo, whose driver was sitting on the edge of the ramp fishing.

"G'Day, mate, could you move ypur car so we can launch the boat, please?"

"What a matter? You no good enough driver to get past? I was here before you!"

A moment later another TS and crew drew up. The fisherman was still

refusing to move, so a debate began between the crews; my crew thought it was Volkswagens so well built that they stayed afloat when in the water, the other crew insisted it was Volvos. We had carried the offending car a yard or two towards the water when the owner stood up, pulled out his key, and offered to drive it to the parking area.

A volunteer from each crew stood by our ehicles while the others launched and set up the boats, and having seen him drive off we went aboard and sailed off into beautiful Botany Bay.

I hate when people park on corners! You can't see whats coming and your having to squeeeeze in between them to let the others pass. It's so irritating!

There's an idiot who parks his van on the corner of Heeley Bank Road and Anns Road North in Heeley, so that whenever you come out of that junction you haven't got a hope in hell of doing it safely. I hope someone smashes his ruddy van up one day when they're trying to get out the junction.

What happens when the other car as gone and leaves your car taking up two spaces for no apparent reason.

nothing exciting - there's a space and a half next to me, somebody parks in the marked out space.... I leave, there's two spaces

not difficult maths really ;)

of course I don't do it on a busy saturday afternoon, only during peak pram-shopping hours :P
