em2656 Â Â 10 #14 Posted February 25, 2008 Thanks for all the recommendations. I've had such problems in the past, I really can't afford to buy a money pit this time round. I need something suitable for a family really, I have 3 young children.
 Share this content via...

Jackdanny   10 #21 Posted February 25, 2008 Depening on what you are after, we are crrently selling our Peugeot 206cc. It's a silver coupe convertible with a hard top roof that retracts into the boot automatically. Really low mileage - just not getting the use out of it. Ideal car for a lady.  How much is it for?  Milage?
 Share this content via...
sausage5   10 #22 Posted February 26, 2008 It's got just under 28,000 on the clock, which is really low for its year, '03 plate. The equivalent in Auto Trader is anywhere between £7400 - £8000 I've noticed. We put it up for around £7400 initially but with the weather getting better the last couple of weekends we are getting keener to sell it and will negotiate - to avoid the temptation of hanging onto it for another year! Really is a lovely car but it's a luxury we just cannot justify - and it needs to be used. Hope that helps.
 Share this content via...
newvanandman   10 #23 Posted February 26, 2008 Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy a 2nd hand car. Preferably somewhere where they don't rub their hands together when they see a woman walking in!  Wouldnt the sensible thing to do be to take someone who knows what they are doing with you?Or to find a car and have an independant inspection done on the car when you find one? Without knowing more details of what you want, how much you want to pay,and payment type its difficult to point you in the best direction. mr_busdriver   10 #24 Posted February 26, 2008 Got to agree with you there mr busdriver. We bought our car from there in January, great service from Simon.     He had a 12 yr old BMW FSH, with only 52k on clock, had my eye on it  I'd have bought it, but the last car he sold me won't die
 Share this content via...
