TattyBear Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 My dogs had theirs today. Apparently it is getting very common now that kennels ask for this before letting people book their dogs in, so be warned in case you make any last minute bookings. It was just a little squirt up one nostril. £30. After molly had kennel cough last year and not having ever been in a kennels before I would recommend this vaccine.

gina2007 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 There's two types, intranasal which is a squirt up the nose and injectable. The nasal spray; they say, is more effective..... But, if its administered up the nose, is it spray or injection?
staffsNlaffs Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 But, if its administered up the nose, is it spray or injection? its a squirt Gina, like a syringe without the needle
gina2007 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 its a squirt Gina, like a syringe without the needle Thank you! (we're arguing, Molly had this today, hes convinced it was an injection up her nose, I said its abit like a vicks nasal spray...)
purple.sarah Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 It probably looked like an injection up her nose to him because they use a syringe but just to squirt it. It's not an injection without the needle, it's a spray like you said. So it will have been one of those arguments where you were both absolutely convinced you were right!

But I was, as always I didnt look (im scared of anything that resembles an injection) but I knew they wouldnt jab her up her nose!
