AlquarUK Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi everyone, looking for some advice. I need a hair cut! I'm a dude, and have shoulder length hair, ish. Basically there is noone I trust not to **** my hair up as last time it was this long I ended up shaving it off following a disaterous hair cut. I'm after something modern sunkist and beachy looking so has to be someone in the know and not a monkey, although I only have peanuts to pay with! any serious recommendations? Cheers, Al
wiz* Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 reminds me of that teen soap and it's theme tune "surf dudes with attitude, kinda grooooovy, laid back moods...." Good luck dude, my hubby often comes home looking like someone put a bowl on his head. bless...
lowby Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 there used to be a salon place at castle market. it was where the little cigerette hut is at the bottom, opposite gregs. there was a young lad who worked there who was brilliant. if not you could try them on the wicker. i think its called scotts.

muddycoffee Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I have long hair and recently I have been going to Headlines in Green's Gym ( you don't have to be a member or anything and you can use the car park ). I went through a stage of having very dissapointing hair cuts because it seems that most gents' places only seem to do short haircuts with the clippers these days. They don't have the patience or skills to do anything other than a standard shaved head. At headlines, they sit down with me and discuss exactly what I want, I have never had this kind of service and attention from a hair stylist before. I can't reccomend them highly enough, and they are not expensive either.
slickwitch Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Phil at Blow Hair - totley. He's a careful hair-genius!
Zimily Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Why not just try Toni and Guy? They will discuss styles with you beforehand.
