Could be - but you can't get there til afternoon - whereas my dastardly plan would involve getting there when it opens at 9 and steadily munching my way through the Victoria sponge, the lemon drizzle cake, the chocolate cake, the treacle tart, the apple pie .......

You can have nice cake at Heeley City Farm cafe! Also Blue Moon do nice ones. And that Country Bookstore at Hassop between Bakewell and Baslow.

alpaca farm is really good fun, my daughters aged 4 & 6 love it and nice cafe too

Try the Pudding Ladies other cafe, in the Rivelin Valley.Same cakes as at Millhouses. Plus a lovely walk in the valley.

Heres another vote for Millhouses caf both for the cake and the breakfast.

 

Years ago I used to work Friday night and it was my weekly treat to have full english in the caf on a Saturday morning.
