Wayneos Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi all, since you guys have helped me out no end in the past, I thought I'd make you my 1st port of call... I have been trying to download all sorts recently via my browser and it just wont let me, I am currently trying to get hold of Itunes and can't, I click on the link to download, the save / run / cancel pop-up box pops up and then it states all downloads are complete immediately...51mb in a nano second, I don't think so, so when I click on the download it states the file is corrupt or it's not a win32 app'... Please, please help... (PS: This could also be linked to the reason I can't watch anything on youtube, the videos load for about a second and then stop...) Thanks
Wayneos Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 Surely someone must have an idea of what the problem is...I've tried firefox, seamonkey and IE7 and still can't download it, is there anywhere else I can download it from failing that.
Wayneos Posted March 8, 2008 Author Posted March 8, 2008 Come on guys, this has been up 3 weeks now and not a single reply, you call yourselves whizz kids...
sixriver Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 i've had similar problems in the past but never with every single download. Where are you downloading your files to? Try creating a new folder, but not anywhere on your desktop or in my Documents open up my computer and in your C: driver create a download folder. and try downloading to that. As a test disable any anti-virus, firewall , anti-spyware software that you may have installed. (Remember to re-enable afterwards)
Wayneos Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 No wonder no one has answered, that should have been one of the very 1st things to try 'Firewall'... I feel such an idiot. Yep, that's my problem... well as far as videos etc go, haven't tried to download yet. Bye, bye Zonealarm.
