Dave Moxon...Legend

Sad news.....Dave Moxon, ex - Deputy Head & Art teacher legend of Hurlfield School (Myrtle Springs) passed away at home yesterday morning aged 60.

 

A very sad time and deepest condolences to his family.

I attended Myrtle Springs School from 1990 - 1995 and remember Mr Moxon with fond memories. He was one of two teachers that I admired and had a lot of respect for. So sad to hear this news.

He was indeed a legend...a truly unforgettable character.

I was there 89-94 and I agree, he was a legend. It was the worst thing to be sent to 'Man Moxon', but he always got the respect he deserved!

He told me off on many an occasion. Everyone was scared of Man Moxon.

I agree with you. 😠

I remember 1994 walking from break and kid in front dropped his chocolate wrapper and the teacher shouting at me to pick it up aggressively... it was awful
