_Kirsty_ Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 You NEED to book a day off work, for something really urgent, but you cant, because someone has booked it off to have a lie in, or something really stupid like that? I need to book tomorrow off work (short notice due to the electrician), because our oven is broke and we need electrician to come round and sort it out... I cant though, because 3 people have already booked it off, 1 cuz she is going to the hospital, second person, reason unknown, third person because she is going out on the lash tonight and wants a lie in tomorrow. NOW we have had to ask our landlord if it is possible for them to come round and let the electrician in, which im not happy about because neither of us are going to be there and i dont like the idea of someone else in our flat, that we dont know, when we arent there!
Agent Orange Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I'm guessing your boyfriend cant get the time off either? Many things are annoying you today, Kirsty
ReginaldD Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Phone in sick! They'll realise though as she's already sked for the day off, wouldn't go down to well I'd imagine. Maybe you could have a word Kirsty with the person going out on the lash. If she does you a favour this time you can do her one another time, I've been on week nights before she'll be ok.
BasilRathbon Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Why not go into work early tomorrow, saw off your left leg then drag yourself into your boss's office saying you injured yourself bumping into the photocopier. He'll be so shocked he'll send you to hospital straight away. But as soon as you're out of his sight, simply sew your leg back on and head for home just in time to let the electrician in. Hope that helps!

Many things are annoying you today, Kirsty He cant because he is mega busy at work and if he has the day off, it means he will need to work stupid hours to catch up the rest of the week

I dont really think she would do that... Shes really excited about this night out on the lash so it is very doubtfull she would come in just for me to have the day off.
BasilRathbon Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Why not drag the oven into work with you and get the electrician to meet you there in your lunch hour?
SupraSteve Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 You could have got one of your random PM people to flat-sit for you, but oh no, you had to tell them all to get lost.
_Kirsty_ Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 Why not drag the oven into work with you and get the electrician to meet you there in your lunch hour? you do make me chuckle! Unfortunately i cant do that... because i walk into work from Hillsborough and its a bit far to be carrying/dragging an oven...
