The 2004 electoral roll lists a Cyril Staniland at Parson Cross. PM me if you'd like the address.

Was there a Barry? Might be about 65 now. My dad used to know a Barry Staniland when he was at school.

I remember about 15yrs ago going with a friend of mine(he was a Staniland) to visit his grandparents, couldn't remember their names or the street name if i tried, think it was more fox-hill end of Parsons cross. Will try to contact him see what info i can get.

Sounds like theyre related to the stanilands that use to live on masters crescent at parsons cross, Ernest and Jessie.

Their offspring were Ernest, walter, kathleen, Edna, keith, Billy and susan.

Wasnt there also relatives of theirs that use to live near scotland street.

I lived in Masters Rd from 1947-51 , the name Staniland rings a bell.
