Mike Groves was based in a yard which is now cutts paper on Greenland rd oposite end of shepcote lane .

 

At dereg he operated in competition with SYT on 47/8

 

A lot of his buses were in advert livery for Nu Life windows

i believe rileys were bought out by w gordon & sons along with billies of mexboro & hagues of sheffield

Yeah you are right Tenter Street. My Grandad sadly passed away Friday 13th July aged 93. He was Chairman of RUFC so you got that right as well. A true gentleman to the end
