Just about remember the gas lamps being lit at night on the side roads

,and then the change over to electic.

Anyone remember Johny Collins (I think) the rag and bone man.

And Millie, the woman who used to collect all the horseracing bets door to door.

Does anyone remember a ragman name of Hirst/Hurst

Hi Chris (Beamish!),

Yeah! I agree, what brilliant times eh?... Wouldn't change it for the world.

I still have a good laugh, and good thoughts, about what we got up to in those days!

Not only good times, but times that can never be replaced! Could go on forever 'bout it... Good to think there's someone else out there who remembers it all!

Shaun Garratty (Gatz)

P.S. If you want to talk, or get in touch, emial me at: shaun.garratty@talktalk.net be good to hear from you! Best wishes from a fellow 'Wybournite' SG
