If you don't mind paying for his Benefits, why bother!

Somebody who lives near me (although I'm not sure if she's claiming benefits) claims to have agoraphobia and stays housebound while the husband does all the shopping, goes to work , and does the gardening. The only time you see her is when she's cleaning the windows from the inside. However, every summer she is suddenly capable of a 2 week holiday abroad.
