Has to be, and still is one of my all time fav's 'Rock the Casbah'. I remember buying it from a second hand record shop in town and it had come from a jukebox so the vinyl record had no middle in it! :hihi: It also takes me back to the Limit days on a Saturday night, Great!

Oddly enough probably Junco Pardner from the Sandinista album. I always felt a bit dubious about the Clash though. I loved the Pistols, Buzzcocks, Damned etc. The Clash always seemed like "the cool kids dressed up in punk fashions" to me.

Pressure Drop. The Toots and the Maytals classic that was covered by The Specials some years later.

Very cliche but 'Should I stay or should I go?' and 'Rock the Casbah' , just because they are both great songs to dance to.

I asked my mate this one about 18 months ago & straight away he said White Man (In Hammersmith Palais) which is mine also. Fantastic track & it barely made the Top 40. Then again most of The Clash singles had little effect on the upper reaches of the British charts. I was only thinkin' the other day that I love a few of it's lyrics but it's the beat/rhythm that does it for me.

I cant understand why the "London calling" album is often quoted as a great album;I find it quite mediocre.

Fabulous song.

It's always been in my Top 3 of all time since it came out.

"Turning rebellion into money" - ain't it the truth :(
