We had a trailer load of well rotted cow manure delivered on saturday.

There was over 70 barrow loads in the trailer.

Just paid £30 for the farmer's diesel for delivery.

 

I can get his number from my gardener if anyones interested.

what does 'well rotted' generally mean?

 

does it smell??

 

is it safe for children to be around. i.e if its on my spuds

Well rotted means... no smell, ok to handle.

loads of straw based horse muck available from M18 junc 1, rotting nicely since October last year. Also some well rotten stuff from 2007 but shavings mixed in with the straw.

 

Free for collection but please bring bags or trailer.

we are looking for well rotted horse manure around south sheffield if anyone knows anywhere. not in huge bulk. are heeley city farm selling at the moment? anyone know how much?

would anybody be interested in having free horse manure for their allotments etc. it will be bagged up but i cant deliver it.
