Changing a file to JPEG

and it aint a jpeg,how to i change it to a jpeg..cheers:)

sod knows...............................it says its a jpeg but image shack says it aint:confused: :confused:

Try opening it using whatever photo editor you have.

 

If you can do that then do a 'Save As'. In the dialog box choose the JPG type.

Sometimes there can be confusion caused by the file extension: .JPEG or .JPG ... you could try changing from one to the other see if that helps.

If you downloaded it from google image search that sometimes causes that problem. Save it as .bmp instead, open it in MS paint, then use file >saveas to save it as a jpg.

IrfanView is cool for this type of thing (image viewer/convertor).

Agreed i'm a fan for life, i love the little dude. Wow and then you find out it can play music, movies and even text files. :D

I thought that altered the quality of the pic?

Not noticeably. Just had to do the same thing after googling an image. Couldnt see any difference.
