Did anyone live on / or remember the brickfields in 1940’s until it’s demolition in the 1950’s?

If you mean the brickworks opposite Concord Park, I used to live on Hatfield House Lane and they were there before and during the war.

i remember them ddeliverd miilk ther when i was 14 in 1944 they were the roow of old cottages wher they built the pub on wincobank avenue used to play in the quarry at the back of them many a good time down there lived on bevercotes at that time
