Although the rain will ease off this afternoon in many areas, further spells of sometimes heavy rain are likely for a time before finally clearing this evening. Her on look north said between 25-50mm of rain today, which could be upto 2 inches, which is a lot of rain, but still doesnt come close to the summer deluge of 112mm i think, thankfully!
