xxsarahxx   10 #3 Posted January 15, 2008 is there anything you need like a new toaster or cutlery or anything like that, they always come in useful. a few of my friends who have been married have asked for argos vouchers. personally i would ask for a fortnight in barbados or something similar, you may get lucky.... Saff   10 #4 Posted January 15, 2008 I've been to quite a few weddings recently where people have asked for money towards the honeymoon or some sort of home improvement- could try that rather than getting things you don't actully need. katndee   10 #6 Posted January 15, 2008 i was thinking of mostly asking for vouchers as they will prob be more useful but havnt been in house that long so everything new and weve got just about everything!
 Share this content via...
Saff   10 #7 Posted January 15, 2008 i was thinking of mostly asking for vouchers as they will prob be more useful but havnt been in house that long so everything new and weve got just about everything!  Why don't you just ask for a bit of money then? If you feel that's a bit blatant you could say it's to save towards "..." Or like mel 77 said give it to charity, or you could even say no gifts please, we just want your presence (not presents!) MonkeyLover   10 #8 Posted January 15, 2008 You could always ask for vouchers for Asda, Morrisons or Tesco so that you can do a good grocery shop!
 Share this content via...
Deebles   10 #9 Posted January 15, 2008 Do you have a garden? Maybe something for use there. Gardening tools, lighting, planters etc. Or B&Q / Homebase vouchers to put towards garden furniture or a BBQ.
 Share this content via...
jojojoanna1 Â Â 10 #10 Posted January 16, 2008 More than just kisses so far we've shared, Our home has been made with Love and Care, Most things we need we've already got, And in our suitcases we can't fit a lot! A wishing well we thought would be great, (But only if you wish to participate), A gift of money is placed in the well, Then make a wish .... but shhh don't tell! Once we've replaced the old with the new, We can look back and say it was thanks to you! And in return for your kindness, we're sure That one day soon you will get what you wished for.
