Agent Orange   11 #169 Posted January 21, 2008 Quick report from my neck of the woods (Rotherham/Barnsley), there is localised flooding and I suspect road closures as a result. Furthermore, trains going via Barnsley are severely affected as there is flooding over that way.  The rain was coming down at an alarming rate over where I live and it dont seem so bad here, yet. Funky_Gibbon   42 #176 Posted January 21, 2008 River along side Meadowhall Road is looking pretty dodgy to me... SCC Camera  yes it looked high yesterday around there. It was 5 foot off road level at that point yesterday - looks a little higher now. I think it's usually 10-12 feet below road level.
