Foggers   10 #625 Posted July 5, 2009 I am looking for a small venue for the afternoon of Sat 5th Sept for a family party for 25-30 people. It needs to be on southern side of Sheffield as most guests are in the Stavely, Killamarsh, Mosborough and N Chesterfield areas. Any ideas? Hannah V Â Â 10 #627 Posted July 6, 2009 hello - why not try my pub The Harlequin on Nursery Street? we can cater for all numbers and have a function room for private parties - we are just outside of the city centre in a traditional Real Ale pub - there is plenty of free parking. rad   10 #628 Posted July 15, 2009 Hi - anyone know of a good venue for 50-100 that'll let you bring your own iPod/CDs and either put them through their system, or let you bring your own system/speakers to plug in?  Can be a venue with a bar or a bring your own type venue. shelby46 Â Â 10 #631 Posted July 25, 2009 I have just had a 50th birthday party at the Hillsborough Club, on Bradfield Road. The place is amazing! the room is large, nicely decorated, and has full disabled facilities. The staff are really friendly and the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a function room.
 Share this content via...

lindseywhite   10 #634 Posted August 26, 2009 Hi all,  I have been through all the suggestions already made and have my list of possibilities...!! I am wanting to sort out a venue for a joint 30th either 14th or 28th November. Between 50-80 people but somewhere where we can have a live band played (friends) followed by a DJ (also a friend). All we really want is a venue that is reasonably central to Sheffield, has a good bar and willing to have live music.  Happy to pay up to £100 for room hire.  One place that hasn't been mentioned in this thread so far are Working Men Clubs??? Anyone know whether they are easy to hire?? I remember going to a birthday party at Nether Edge Working mens club last year and they had a live band and a good bar... Anyone know about the costs involved??  CHEERS!!!!
 Share this content via...
